I have a dual moniter set up at work, 2 x Dell P2212H screens, set landscape with it set so I can drag stuff from one screen to another (or indeed leave it sat in the middle). The left screen (as I look at it) is set as the main screen

The problem is that when the machine locks the left screen powers down and so all the display moves to the right screen when I log back in. To sort it I just click the power button on the left screen, everything moves left and then I drag what I need right.

IT’s not a big deal but I wondered if anyone know why it would do this and how to stop it?

Disable the power-saving on it, perhaps?

    DELL monitor’s own setup options

/ Display Settings / On during power save?

set the other one as the main screen (and maybe swap them on the desk if you’re that way inclined)
