    Hi,

I’ve just sold a bike on eBay and am struggling with getting a courier service at a reasonable cost.

It will be packed in a proper cardboard bike box, weighs 16Kg and measures 145 x 83 x 23.

Parcel force have quoted £60. Hermes have said too large.

    Help please.

    Thanks,

    Stu.

Thanks, but they show great prices until I go to book, and then say “too heavy”

I used senditnow.com, no issues and only about £20.

No insurance, but Paisley Freight will do it for £22.50.

They do offer additional insurance. Which, given some horror stories on bike shipping, might be prudent to have depending on the value of the bike.

+1 for Paisley Freight. Great service every time. Think it was TNT who collected the last couple of times.

How could we forget? I think 27% of the internet’s capacity was taken up by that chap’s posts.

Anyway, didn’t it turn out it had been damaged in an accident?

Yeah, we should have got Paisley Freight to deliver them, that’d have shortened the posts by a good foot.

I just used Parcel Monkey – around £18 all in. And no complaints.

Used Paisley Frieght recently with no issues.
