    Hello all

I have some UST rims with non UST tyres on them, while the’re holding air just now, I can nearly burp them by hand at 25psi if I squeeze the sidewall air does escape but the stans fluid stops it eventually

I’m guessing I need a rim strip in there (there isn’t one just now) will any rim strip do that is the width of the rim? or should I get the Stans yellow tape? (is this stuff sticky for covering up the rim holes?)

Did they ‘ping’ at least twice when you put air in? Sounds like they are not seated. You don’t need the strips

Not really there was a bit of ping but I was expecting more, and I pumped up to 50psi. If I let the tyres down they still say in place but leak air under 20 psi

Keep pumping, sometimes it can take up to 80psi before they go.
