Don’t normally have a problem, but this CK crown race won’t go on a IF steel fork with my normal 32mm plastic pipe?
Tried heating it up in hot water but can’t get the b***** on.
Help!

Cut a slot in it with a hacksaw

Is there any paint around where the crown race should seat if so remove it with a blade,I had a similar issue with a Salsa fork.
Cleaned the paint off ,dab of grease around the inside of the crown race and job done.

King Headset but haven’t got the tools to fit it properly? Take it to your lbs & ask them. I’d charge as much as a donation in the charity box.
