    Hi All

    Whats the easiest method to remove a stuck aluminium seatpost within a carbon scott scale frame

    get a decent sized hammer and smash away the carbon from around the seat post

    easiest method is to put it in with some sort of grease/assembly compound to start with 😉

    If it were mine I'd strip the bike to the frame, clamp the post in a vice and try and remove it by turnign the frame.

    if it felt like somethign was going to go pop before the post came out I'd take it to a shop and get them to try.

    probably the cause of the issue TBH ….

    carbon paste on carbon componants – dry is better than grease on carbon !
