Having just bought a new MTB for the first time in 15 years the first upgrade I am thinking of is new wheels. If my frame and fork are both the ‘standard’ QR dropouts am I limited to wheelsets with QR 135mm hubs? I have to admit to being utterly confused about all the different axle options there now seems to be.

Is it possible to increases my options with adaptors etc?

Surprised a new mtb has a qr front. Even cross country bikes use a 15mm (my anthem came with one for instance) what bike is it?

The Hope will cover everything that isn’t Boost with one hub. Depends how much you want to spend though but for me good hubs last

It’s a Bianchi Ethanol but their 2015 model, which I suppose is old school these days.
