Received new bike yesterday and with a it a fangle dangle shock. RS monarch rc3 hv apparently. As usual cant really find any on line guides. 13 stone running on a new nuke 160 mega. First ride tonight so any tips appreciated.

Set the sag to 30%
Set the rebound so it doesn’t pop you off
Set the comp in the middle.

Ride and tweak if you need one at a time gradually after a few days riding.

When setting sag, shock fully open arse on saddle feet on pedals, ie full weight on bike. There is a 40% marker on this shock which seems a bit much.

comp fully off to start with usually works for me then gradually click it up as i go.

Also like to set sag when standing as that’s where I’ll be when I want the suspension setup properly
