    Hey guys

I am looking to build up a play bike just for messing about, bit of trail action, dirt jumping and pump track. It will probably be single speed and I will be using lots of heavy and tough parts which I already have, but I am not too bothered about weight. It needs to suit a 130mm Marzocchi drop off 4 fork and have 26″ wheels.
Feel free to post if you have something it will be second hand and I will need to try and find something under about £100. What frame do you guys think would suit? I was pissed off to find the cheap Marley frames had sold out on crc!

    Cheers

Identiti Dr Jekyll cheap as chips and masses of fun, standard size is 13″ but the XL comes in at a 16″

Old style Chameleon with the horizontal dropouts would be ideal. Just about in budget too.

+1 for a Charge Blender. Anywhere between £50 & £100. I had one as a do it all for a few years, super fun, rode lots of 4x and pumptracks on it but ended up transferring the build onto a 2012 Five frame as wanted something FS for longer trail and XC rides.

However can’t wait to get it built back up as a 2nd bike in the spring as a single speed for ripping around and playing on.

    Here’s a pic pre strip…

I have a Identiti Mr Hyde frame I am looking to sell, see pink bike link at the bottom of this post. Would do it for £50 now with the headset, seat post, seat collar and saddle. Could be run single speed or with gears as it has the adjustable drop out system.

My email is in my profile if you are interested.

Ah another plus one for the DMR sidekick, loved that bike!
Replaced with a hole shot, which is damn good fun! 🙂

Blender probably won’t work, they’re meant for short forks. The 130mm Marzocchis are very long, possibly longer than a 140mm Rock Shox.

Best off getting something meant for a long fork like a Ragley or a 456.

Ive owned and ridden loads of DMRs aswell, all were best with a 100mm fork.

Or, swap your drop offs for some dirt jumpers. Probably wont cost you owt.

You need the classified section on pink bike. usually some good kit going for peanuts on there.
