Just been thumbing through the latest copy of MBR in WHSMith and have seen the article on testing electronic suspension in the Lake District. If anyone has the mag, can one of you help me identify the location of the photo on page 90. I’m thinking Ullswater but i can t be sure. Where the trail runs from / to for extra bonus points!

Being the tight git that I am, I didn’t buy the mag!! Might pop back later to get it. I’ll post the photo if I do.

Warnscale was in that article – Honister slate mine down to Butteremere – cracking descent. I don’t buy the mag tho, so I can’t be sure if that’s the one you’re on about.

This thread is of no use without pictures! 😐

Not got the mag in front of me, but I think it was the Howtown end of the Ullswater singletrack. They did a feature on it a month or two ago, so I expect to see photos of it in most major features for the next six months or so.

DO MBR not have a forum – its seems somewhat odd ot ask on here what is happening in their mag tbh

NO idea re the answer though but pictures would be somewhat useful

Yeah, it’s in the Lake District.

The trail runs from up near the top of the hill to somewhere near the bottom.

    What do I win?

    This pic?

    I’d say that’s Fleetwith Pike

    Yep, Fleetwith Pike, aka Warnscale.
