Trying to take my front wheel off and the 15mm axle on my fox forks was super stiff. As I was unwinding a gap was appearing in the non disc side

I managed to take out the small allen bolt out and withdrew the nut but the bolt/axle is still not withdrawing.

Nightmare, the bolt will spin round back and forth but will not come out. It is the OEM Easton Wheelset and hub which came with my 2012 cube stereo. Tried boiling water over the hub and it didnt make any difference. I can hold the hub collar with a screwdriver and it will stay stationary while I spin the bolt/axle. Its still not coming loose?

Thinking of soaking overnight in WD40, short of drifting it out with a mallet and a bit of wood, anyone else have any ideas? I would worry about damaging the hub.

The bike had only done around 200 miles since Jan so wouldnt expect corrosion.

    Help appreciated,

    Alan
