Ok my fiance just got a new commuting bike and it would be great to upgrade the brakes from v-brakes to disk brakes. Frame is disk ready and have heard rumours that you can get an adaptor to fit standard 6 bolt diks to a nexus 8 speed hub but where from ?

    Any help gretaly appreciated.

    Cheers

Assuming the Nexus has CentreLock splines, then just google for a CentreLock to 6-Bolt adapter.

    Or buy a CentreLock rotor.

the nexus is designed for a roller brake so it’s got weird fitting 🙁

I have the DT Swiss Centre Lock To 6 bolt Adapter on a Alpine 11 Hub, works fine.

a quick google search and there is a german company that makes a specific nexus disc adaptor (scroll to the bottom of the page)- link

What you really need is the back-lit shifter display.
