Off to Spain in a couple of months and want to buy some decent elbow pads as my old 661 veggie pads might not be up to the rockier terrain. I have long skinny arms. Tried 661 (they slip) and Poc (too bulky and big, may slip?)
I want ones that will also protect my forearms from gorse etc so I can use them on my local trails. Any recommendations??

race face have good coverage. hot though and i`d recommend trying them on.

i have dianese i have to do em up really tight for them not to move. they have worked on many occasions but not good at bramble protection.

    its a bugger being scrawney.

My arms are pretty skinny. I've got RaceFace Rally FR – great pads.

I bought some fairly cheap Fox ones a few yrs ago and they are pretty good.
3 wide velcro straps with hard shell protection on the elbow & forearm. I've never found they slip & the middle strap can be undone when you're in between sections to help cool off a bit.

Good idea on the forearm protection – I've just got back from Spain and it's very overgrown. Every plant seems to want to scratch you to bits….
