I have a Bell volt having previously been a long time Giro E2 users. I find the Volt noticably more comfortable and secure. Of course, your experience may vary depending on the shape of your head…

Yep, go to a shop and buy the one that fits best. I'm another E2 lover here, just fits perfectly on my bonce.

I'm a big fan of the Spesh 2D (comes with a detachable peak if you really want one). Ofc it helps they fit my head shape well (then again I also have a couple of Giro Havocs that fit OK but are noticeably heavier and hotter).

Ditto Clubber, just got a Volt after stacking once too many times on my E2.
Superb fit & very nicely made.

I thought the Volt was quite a lot (though I didn't pay anything like full price)

The one that fits best. Preferably one with multiple sizes of shells rather than relying on one size fits all with an adjustable band.

Fit is the single most important aspect

I miss my Bell Sweep – Giro Athlon has been alright so far…

TJ posting sensible advice on a helmet thread! Wow, I'm truly stunned! 🙂

+ 1 with TJ. The best helmet in the world is rubbish if it doesn't fit, but then you knew that, didn't you? 🙂

Jeezo chaps. Just because I have contentious opinions does not mean I don't have knowledge or sensible answers to non contentious points.

That reminds me – I really should get a new hat myself. Mine are a good few years old now even if hardly worn
