ok so I need a new helmet (road / XC not full face) and I have a very long head. I’ve tried lots of things but most things seem too wide (tried a catlike and it was like a mixing bowl) and just to make things really annoying I’m 58cm so right on the cusp of sizes… if anyone has a helmet that fits ( 🙄 ) please enlighten me

Sue’s got a Spesh Echelon which is like a vice on me.

Catlike and Kask fit my roundish head.
Bell too wide, Giro and most Spesh (apart from the Airnet) too narrow.

Btw, really recommend a Kask if it fits.
Excellent quality and the retention system is solid and properly adjustable.

hello rusty, I was reminded of your thread for the roundheaded gent 🙂 I’ll give a giro and spesh a go, I think they have them in stock in Evans’ so gives me an excuse to pop over

If you’re going to Evans then the Louis Garneau helmets are probably worth a look, too.
