  • Helmet – crash (should I replace?)

    Basically brand new Flux, second ride I came off high and landed on the righthand temple/front square on on rocks. Theres scuffing but no cracks or dents. My forehead is still alittle sore 1 week on so some force had been transmitted through the helmet (and its structure) of course.

    Should I bin/replace?

    I crashed, stopped when my head used a tree as a brake, no damage to my poc, but got a new one. Not worth the risk.

    Get in touch with the retailer , they might offer crash replacement , if not free , then maybe at cost , worth a phone call ?

    It’s got to be replaced anyway.

    TBh it was only £36 new so crash replacement would be v.similar. I’ll replace with a cheap IXS Trail RS. Cheers 🙂
