Is Helicopter tape ok to use on anodised frames ?? … read somewhere its not recommended ??
Dont really see the problem apart from the taped areas will be gloss and the untaped parts matt anodising ?

My 2005 Sworks stumpy is annodised. It has factory fitted helecopter tape, no problems so far.
Got to be less of a problem than cable rub.

Most anodised finishes don't take stickers well at all, is the problem. You can wrap the tape right round so it sticks to itself but helii tape wouldn't stay on my anodised Scandal for 10 seconds, I ended up using wraps of cloth tape.
