    That won’t make it better,kevin.

    I found a hedgehog at the back door not so long ago (after finding the neighbours cat staring at it)

    I chased the cat and the hedgehog scuttled off into the garden. He could run fairly quick so I take it there was no probs with it.

    If you feed a hedgehog ham,does this prove they are cannibals? Pork scratchings don’t count :O)

    In an attempt to make my garden more wildlife friendly this year, a month ago I built a habitat for amphibians and a wildlife pond.

    The only hedgehog around here then promptly drowned in my pond.

    I felt awful and the effect of my ‘wildlife’ pond is now a net loss.

    Have you now rebuilt your pond to include gently sloping sides?
