Thinking about going out for a hack tomorrow afternoon when the rain’s (hopefully) stopped.

It’s a toss-up between Lee/Cragg Quarries or taking a look at Healey Nab for a more woodsy singletrack experience.

Anyone had a go at Healey Nab and what did you think?

Its pretty small, its ok to do as part of a bigger loop round the reservoir, but you’ll probably be bored of it within an hour. Theres a few technical bits as part of the black.

Lee and cragg quarry have much more riding (but even they’re not exactly massive), they’re all ok for a play about if you live near by , but I wouldnt travel miles specially to visit.

Same as Julians – you can ride round the whole of it in 15 minutes. Still really good fun for a few loops, but if you’re making a trip its not really enough on its own. Excellent as part of a natural loop though.

Lee Quarry and Crag Quarry on the other hand are good for a couple of hours. Small again though compared to say Llandegla or Cannock etc etc etc.
