If ever a reason why you should wear a helmet ! Apparently the person is recovering, and wouldn’t have been here now if they had not been wearing their helmet. 😯

That being the most important part in all these ‘I wouldn’t be here without my helmet’ posts.

Police are still holding my helmet as evidence. I haven’t seen it yet. I do know that I managed six facial fractures but nothing from above the helmet line. Not even a headache.

I’m rather pleased with that outcome. Now if only I’d been wearing chest protection it might have saved my ribs, sternum and T1 vertebrae 😉 .

Not a helmet zealot myself, but I personally always choose to wear one. Hope the guy who owns that helmet is making a recovery.
