£10 for a DH tube is not unusual. I’d put money on it being the shop’s official price.

If all the other staff are good, make it very plain that you don’t want to be served by this one individual. You’ll be doing the Manager a favour by bringing this up – if he’s got one employee that’s having a negative impact on his business then he’ll want to know – he may even be looking for an excuse to get rid of the guy?

go and speak to them. they may have given you the wrong tubes in error. give them the chance to fix it – or prove they are crap 😉

oh, and do you really need DH tubes? lot of weight for not much benefit ime.

Same family own Cycle Care in High Wycombe which is always very good, and Stows in Slough also has good service. That’s where I go now.
