I'm using some 2004 Fox Float RLCs in perfect working order and good nick, is it worth updating them? Would I notice or is it all marketing bollocks? Riding newer forks on my friends bikes doesn't seem that different TBH.

Advice from the bike industry will be a definite yes.

Advice from a customer would be a probably not.

If they are working well and are in good shape, why even think about a replacement?
