    Interesting review. Thanks. On paper the Four does look suspiciously similar to my 2013 Five. I wonder how different it feels in practice though.

    I’d say short is up to 120mm, mid above 120mm to 160mm and long above 160mm or there abouts?

    I’m kinda with core…. I’d agree with the above for 650B but I don’t know if I’d apply it to 29ers ???
    (Not saying its wrong… more does the definition change)

    It does doesn’t it? Especially if you go up a size on the older Five to get the reach longer.

    to me it felt the same as a old five with offset bushes (low bb)

    my next purchase will be a 130mm travel 650b, although i will test ride the 29 equivalent. 29er is faster but is it as much fun and sprightly, the magazines who’s business is to sell advertsing space for bikes says so.

    my last purchase was a 10 year old 26″ cotic soul frame i cannot wait to ride it.
