    crazy-legs, did you ride for a club? I would have been one of the half dozen or so Schmoos riders at most Welsh races in the 90s.

    I started doing the NEXT Welsh Series in about 1998 when I was at uni in Cardiff. Think I did 98, 99 and probably 2001 (missed most of 2000 season) Was riding for De Laune CC in Sport cat (then Schmoo moved me up to Expert when I started winning them…) 😉

    So, anyone ride the Grundig race at Strathpeffer about that time?

    Drove all night to get there, had to ride the qualifier, the course was about 50% rideable and it rained like a biblical event.

    Did get to see Tinker Juarez, Ned Overend , Thomas Frischneckt, Tomac and the brit guys close up tho…
