  • Has anyone successfully repaired a shadow+ mech?

    I’ve just noticed my shadow+ mech wasn’t doing anything when I switched it on. When I opened it up I found the metal bracket inside holding the cam had snapped.

    Anyone had a similar issue and repaired it?

    How old is it? Warranty return? Put a wanted out for a knackered one – cages get bent or snapped.

    Alternatively, it’ll still work as a normal mech.

    I saw a photo that someone had done a bodge by wedging a perfectly-sized chunk of plastic inside.
