Returned a brake via bikeshop October 20th. Still waiting for them to remedy it.
Bikeshop have been ace so far (speaking to them at least!), so think its a Madison delay.

Has anyone had a good warranty situation with Madison?

I have been to the Madison Warranty department a couple of times. They are all keen young mechanic-cyclists (the atmosphere is just like being in a really cool bikeshop), and are authorised to sort out any warranty issue by return, especially something as small as a brake.
Hassle your dealer, he's probably still got the part in his out-tray!

Yes. Faulty L&M lights. Took them in Tuesday and they were tested then replaced the following Monday, I'd set aside at least a month so six days was fantastic.

Only time we've had problems is if parts are out of stock, what brakes are they?

All full Saint M810 assemblies in stock, why not give them a call, they may just be busy.

Without the returns authorisation number that will have been issued to your shop there is little chance of getting accurate information directly from Madison because of the numbers of transactions involved between Madison and retailers. Get your shop to ring them while you are in the shop, it is much more likely to yeild a result.

It took them 7 weeks to get me an XT shadow rear mech replaced. In the end I bought a one and then sold the replacement on here.

Madison won't deal with the public - it slows down warranty and service massively if they've got customers on hassling them about any one of the several dozen brands they stock, they'll only talk to the shop.Posted 1 year ago # -
Probably the shop dont give a toss for customer service, why cant they just replace it then claim another back from Madison so easy yet so difficult for fools to understand it appears.

I would suggest the answer to the last question is because if a shop gave a replacement part from stock and then Madison failed/refused to issue a replacement then the shop would end up out of pocket, that ain't gonna happen.

if its broke/bust/unfit for purpose then its quite obvious to the shop as well as the customer,
3 MONTHS IS JUST BEING DAFT,for a replacement

They are really good. Delays are pretty much guaranteed to be down to the shop.
Fishers on the other hand..........oh dont get me started!
