    Do you have an opinion?

Judge Peter Clarke QC said: “ You thought you were having fun and you had the temerity to say to a woman with a two-year-old daughter ‘nice arse’.”

    This Judge is clearly deranged.

My wife has had 3 kids and she still has a nice arse.

Wtf has cycling got to do with it, and why will banning him have an effect?

How the hell does an indefinite cycling ban get enforced?!
Basically, the pervy bastard has been let off.

Of course I do, but do you really want to hear it? 😉

An indefinite ban though. It sounds so much like ‘infinite’. And the guys a cyclist. One of us. Putting aside his serial indecent assaults and child molestation for a moment its as if all cyclists are being punished by this.

Banned from riding a bike!! 😆 How on earth do they intend to police that!!

So by banning him from riding his bike they’re implying that the bike was the trigger for his behaviour…i.e. he’s only a bum groping pervert on two wheels.

Well at least he wasn’t riding 2 abreast. Motorists want to make that a capital offence.

    No – you’re implying that.

I like inappropriate touching as much as the next man. Only recently I pinched a colleague’s arse as I opened the door after her appraisal. Should I be banned from letting women walk in front of me?

    No – you’re implying that

    [/quote]No, he’s inferring that
    and then perhaps exploring it
    nobody’s endorsing it

If you like. I have photos of all 3 children and birth certicates and everything. I was there when they were all born. They’re definitely hers.

Not sure when grabbing someones arse became an “outrageous” sexual assault.

I had my arse grabbed once when cycling past some slow moving cars. Didn’t cross my mind that is was am outrageous sexual assault. Just put it down as an everyone’s human type incident…

Yes he should be had up on a charge and prosecuted appropriatey. But why can you get banned indefinitely on a bike, when drinking over the legal alcohol level and killing a cyclist only gets you a suspended sentence and only a 28 month driving ban.

    Harsh ???

More weird…. the judge seems as weird as the offender.

Going round grabbing girls (or even grown womens) arses…. sure but why remarking a woman with a 2yr old has a nice arse (or not) is somehow relevant or not is weird. I completely fail to see the relevance.

    Banned from cycling ???
    Again see no relevance here…

The judge seems like almost as big a danger to society as this bloke

Oh, err, well, … those pics I sent aren’t of my penis at all. They’re someone else’s entirely so no need to show anyone else.

    Right ?

From the comments at the linked article:

Kill a cyclist in a car, £80 fine.
Pinch a few arses on a bike, indefinite ban and a suspended prison sentence. Not condoning what he did at all, but there is something seriously wrong and imbalanced in the world of sentencing.

    What they said

    I assume they’re 42’s?

(that’s for the STW oldtimers- yes, STW did indeed have a resident “flasher” back in the day)
