    I can get one with a good discount but…
    5'7" short
    never ridden one
    16 miles each way on hilly dodgy roads commute
    Would I be better off with a Genesis SS CX bike (the one from the Winter issue of the mag)?
    Any feedback appreciated, thanks

    Do they do these in 26 as well?

    I quit fancy one but not sure I want to go to 29

    roads = road bike/tyres better?

    I have some road tyres already so they're not an issue. I fancy a 29er but also want a SS CX bike.
    Pompino would be substantially dearer than any of them, sadly (can't buy through the shop).
