    cheers for the heads up, will give that trail a miss. many a log found on various routes these days. Went out round leeds calverley woods the other week, some group has gone to great lengths at stopping riders (not just mtb) by actually chopping trees down??? not one but lots

    Not condoning this but you can see why some folks get pissed off with mtb’s. Those trails are trashed 😕

    Apparently that’s a mixed use access trail used by a lot of dog walkers.

    It had the area XC championship held on it a couple of weeks ago after two days of heavy rain, 90% of the course was dry and held up really well. It’s a pretty big area and there were loads of paths we never touched.

    Just before the Elite/Expert/junior race started it came over the radio that the local scrote brigade were blasting round on motorbikes so I wouldn’t be surprised if this were more youths out being idiots rather than deliberate anti-mtb feeling.
