Anybody got any good recommendations for a hardtail for under £500? needs to be pretty small, around 14″ or so, possibly woman specific although I guess bikes that small are pretty rare in mens versions.

    thanking you

    what they ^ said.

my tiny (5′ 1″) girlfriend has a myka, it fits her very well.

the parts are a bit cheap/heavy. but the frame is lovely.

aye the myka was on the radar…was a tad underwhelmed by the components too although figured the frame was probably ok.

any deals around at the mo?

Je James TalonGiant Talon 14 inch on offer at JE James for £550 – looks like a decent spec and they are meant to have good handling.

Not sure what size the XS is (think it may be 14″) but this seems alot of bike for the money at £500

Kona do the Kula Lisa in tiny sizes.

Women specific versions tend to be different geometry to the mens of similar size; the lisa has the same lenght TT as the 16″ mens.
