I would like to be able to hang my road bike up inside the house, partly for convenience and partly for security reasons. Most of the wall mounted bike holders are a bit agricultural, does anyone have any recommendations for something a bit more domestic ?

Buy a bike workstand like those made by Park tools & use that as your bike’s storage.

You’ll know its cool as I’ve been doing that for years. And I’m very cool indeed.

I had Something LIke This for my road bike in my old flat and it was pretty useful and a piece of p1ss to install… if you use your own rawl bolts instead of the crap that comes with it!

not going to help security but would hang them up for £5 per bike:
