The Mrs is away for the night, and despite my good intentions I’m getting hammered on cheap rum and coke and hash.
I’d have been alright but another thread set me off on a detectorist marathon on dailymotion, which ive never seen before but has hours of video from Gilles Petersen’s worldwide festival. So here I am.

Just driven the 3.5 hr trip back from Harrogate, bikes filthy, i’m filthy, the whiskey I’m drinking is dirty.

Pretty much, bought a bottle of Aldi honey bourbon last weekend. I don’t like it so I’m disposing of it accordingly. Mrs P is asleep and I’ve got revolution on. Trying hard not to buy things off of the Internet.

I loved Southern Comfort in my late teens / early 20s.

Until the time I overdid it (most of a bottle) and puked it up.

Since then even a sniff of it makes me retch.
