I’ve always rode carbon monkeybar with a high rise but would like wider bars than their 685mm.
Ideally want at least 740mm before potentially cutting them down.
Love the look of the Renthal bars but I’m worried they’ll be too stiff and buzzy on the trail after riding carbon.
    Ahould I be concerned?
Our the Lite version more forgiving than the heavier ones?
The carbon ones are out of my price range:(
Anything else I should consider out there?

The Renthal bars aren’t really that special – if budget is an issue then there are plenty cheaper Aluminium bars available … Trail Buzz shouldn’t be an issue – wider bars should help …

I let my fork sort out the buzz and the bar be as stiff as possible.

Have tried a few bars on my (rigid) clown wheeler. Ended up with a non O/S carbon bar in low rise. Not sure if the extra bend helps, but it felt better than a flat bar. Niner’s flat alloy bar was truly awful.

Those new Om-One carbon bars come in two levels of stiffness and are only £40.
