Does anyone use a handlebar mount for their iphone?

I am travelling about quite a bit at the moment with work, but i'm trying to get at least an hours riding in a day. I've been downloading routes from http://www.bikely.com sending them to an app called "trails" and MotionX-GPS to find my way around.

its a bit of a hassle having to memorise a number of junctions and navigate my way around stopping and starting.

My only concern is that the vibration of riding with my phone bar mounted might knack the HDD…

    Anyone tried this?

I wouldn't do it with mine. Expensive of you crash! Get a garmin etrex h or similar and use that instead.

oh and, i'm lucky enought to have multiple iphones, so i'd rather not buy a specific GPS system
