I seem to recall from yesterday that a couple of people were interested in seeing how the gopro hero faired when mounted on the bars. I tried it out at Nant-y-arian yesterday, vids here

do you know if you can you get a bar mount for 31.8mm bars?
i bought the gopro mounting kit but can’t find a fitting for my oversize (on all bikes) bars

That’s impressive, much better than i thought it would have been.

I think you have to buy the mounting kit for an extra £20. I doesn’t come with the standard mounts.

Thanks for that. I’m contemplating buying one in time for a Spain trip next month and wondered how good they would be. Think I’ll go ahead and get it.

Gooner – I’m using oversized bars in those vids. I’m not sure if I have a different bar mount, that’s the one that came with my cam!
