Been trying to sort out the front disc brake on my m8's (spare) bike for far foo long, and decided the rotor must be to blame. So I always pop in halfords checking for a bargain, and Merryhill store sorted me out a good un @ the weekend.
Got 2 brand new disc rotors for £1, that's 50p each. Fitted the 185 one last night and for the first time in ages the bloody thing worked a treat Woohoo!

50p how can that be possible eh? Apparently I was not the first to ask after them, but I was the first to be overjoyed to hear they were 4 bolt (not 6) rotors!

I've found loads of stuff in the bargain bins at Halfords. There are some real gems if you get lucky and loads of bits in the 50p-£5 bracket.

I always pop in and have a look whenever i'm passing.

I spotted those and was very excited until i realised they were 4 bolt!

There was some bargains to be had in there if you know what you're looking for.

I know, I didn't clock the bolt holes until the staff guy said, along with mention everyone who'd seen them had asked about em. But much to his surprise this only made me happier, meant I upgraded the disc from a 160 to a 185 with having to buy a new 6 bolt wheel & rotor or a specialist rotor from hope.

Yep bargains to be had in those reduced bins

anyone got a non-coda 4 bolt wheel (I had the coda one & the other doesn't line up) that fancy's a 180mm disc for the 50p & postage?
