  • Halfords Cycle to Work and Topping Up Advice Please

    I’m after an Orange RX9 which just happily coincides with my works Cycle to Work window opening. The max I can get is £1000. The RX9 is about £1100.

    When I signed up for the letter of consent, they say I cannot top up the amount with cash.

    So, looking for real world experiences of anyone on the Halfords scheme who has topped up with their own cash.

    Also, any recommendations for bike shops that can order in Orange and also accept the Halfords scheme? Preferably in Scotland, but happier to go further afield.
