Only done it once, but one of my favourite rides for sure. Hoping to get back for another visit in the autumn.

    Google gypsy glen loop.

Basically cardrona forest car park up the firest track

Get to the top turning circle and look for reasinably obvious path through the felled trees and turn right at the fence follow the fence path to the gate at the corner. Go through that and turn right up hill. Follow the track up and round the descrnd towards the trees and stream. Cross the stream and follow path to the next fence. It’ll be biggy by the gate but once through that turn right and follow the hill track to the right once you’re at the top stop and take in the views.

From there on its down hill ish all the way to peebles.

Thats ut roughly. The climb is a bit rubbish but the descent is fun in a point the bike down hill and avoid the ruts kind if way.
