    How can they have some of the dross like Radiohead on this and not Smoke on the Water or Whole Lotta Love which was TOTP tune for years!! Sorry Zeppelin fan full of stella!

    The clue might be in your title? you basically had TOTPs and Old Grey Whistle Test, I don’t think Led Zep ever played either of those and how would you have shown ‘the theme tune from TOTPs’, which incidentally was CCS not Led Zep, I think the programme was about showing bands playing. I suppose CCS might have played OGWT, dunno.

    its worth catching ‘totally british: 70s rock n roll’ on the i player if you can – part 2 in particular, lots of pub rock. also ogwt 70s gold on the same night.
