    Ahoy!

I’m a big fan of GT85 but I wondered if there were any alternatives I should consider.

Anything cheaper but as effective would be fantastic!

Is it really worth saving a £1 or so a can – doubt you’d find anything cheaper than £2 (unless you’re getting through unhealthy amounts of it).

I know it works so I use it…

    Cheers

TF2 spray seems to be much the same.

I used to go through cans of No-Rust-O-Preen like my dad goes through cans of belhaven 😆 Not sure it’s actually any good. Does it “dissolve rust”? Does it balls. If it did, my Virago would have run down the drain.

Never used it on my motorcycle- i stick with WD40 for that (cheaper, smells nice), but iv’e used it to lube my MTB chain and squirting out gear cables etc for years. Works really well for me, it never picks up dirt and dosen’t wash off in mud too easily. Although if a filthy ride is on the cards i’ll chuck some Finish Line on.

GT85 in ‘trigger spray’ 1l works out cheaper and less packaging waste.

Stick with GT85, not only does it work well on the bike, but can replace Lynx spray and aftershave!

I was wondering the same thing just a few days back. Wanted to get some GT-85 but couldn’t find any locally. Everyone seemed to have this instead…

Which looks like the WD40 brand equivalent of GT-85 – is it?
