Son No.2 has downloaded Minecraft but we cannot get it to work as, according to MC, our graphics accelerator card or something is not up to date. What is really frustrating is that our pc isn’t that old and son No.1 played MC on the same pc only about a year ago.

I’ve tried a number of times to download a new AMD driver but with no success.

What befuddles me is that such a clunky low res game (which I thought we owned already),seemingly used by 90% of the worlds youth, does not seem to work on a decent up to date pc. Grrrrrr!

Anyone else had similar issues?

Runs badly on our home pc too, but it’s nothing special.

Might try it on my works laptop that’s a cad workstation,.

Thump runs Minecraft on a 7-yr old Linux laptop.
Kept crashing, so I went into settings and turned down the graphic requirements. Works fine now.
