    This was posted about half an hour ago on their FB.

    So either they’re trying to tempt you in with an old pic, or are hiding the six foot of snow really well… 🙂

    With purple heather and green fern, I suspect it’s not a recent picture.

    ^^^^ Bracken still green and flowering heather indicates it’s a photo from late July/early August. Snow seems to be starting above 300m looking from my bedroom window towards Longsleddale. Heading out shortly for a pootle round Kendal so will update when back.

    the whole of the Lakes looked pretty white from where I was standing today, near Lancaster.

    There was no snow in Grizedale at 4pm today, could all change by tomorrow tho 🙂
