We’re currently in (a very wet) Venice, en route to Platsa, Messinia. Are any of you guys out in that area (Kardamili, Stoupa, Agios Nikolaos etc.) any time between now and the end of July and fancy getting out for a ride or two?

Whats the riding like around that way?

A lot of long dirt road climbs to get up into the Taygetos mtns. And some nice techy descending, once you know how to find it. Some is waymarked (for walking) but most is just local knowledge type stuff.
