As above, wife suggested planet Hollywood or Hard Rock Cafe but neither appeals to me in the slightest.

Any recommendations? Not just the food, something slightly more memorable than just ‘another restaurant’. They’ll be 4 & 8.

Needs to be somewhere I don’t have to book years in advance too.

Tokio Diner, just off Leicester Square. Japanese Cafe, great bento boxes, curries and sushi. Good value and very informal.

Wahaca near Trafalgar Sq if they/you like Mexican. Or Burger & Lobster in Green Park or soho if you like burgers or lobster.

    The Rainforest Cafe

Rainforest Cafe is located at the Piccadilly Circus end of Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of London’s West End.

    Very different and great fun.

Might be a bit different but have you tried the natural history museum food. Was pleasantly surprised when we went on bank holiday Sunday at the end of August. Food is not that badly priced either.

Sophie’s, Covent Garden. Superb, sprog friendly steakhouse.
