My brother in law [fair bit older than me] asked if I'd like to do the Great Glens cycle route from Fort William to Inverness some time next year.

I quite fancy doing something like this but not so keen if it involves lots of road stuff. Anybody done it? What could I expect?

Did it a couple of years ago. Not too much road on first half, lots of off road and canal riding. Gets more interesting further from Fort William. Well worth a go tho!

It's quite easy riding – beautiful though. I did it in Feb in thick snow a few years back and that was ace. Made it a bit more challenging too!
