I need a simple tablet for doing some basic illustration within stuff like Word and PowerPoint (both 2007) on Windows. Might also need it for misc stuff on my MBP too.

Any of you a fan of Wacom and Trust? Will the Bamboo range do the job?

I have the Wacom Bamboo Pen + Touch. It’s very good. Coupled with something like Photoshop/Elements, which can utilise the pressure sensitivity feature, it’s excellent. Doesn’t have all the features and sensitivity of the Intuous range, but is far cheaper, and a good introduction to using a tablet. I’d recommend one.
