    wakey wakey!

what it says in the title have gps files generated by sports-tracker and want to edit out sections / join section / take out my navigational errors

seems to be a few things around – what do people find free or cheap and easy to use?

I want to use final edits on a Magellan500/Mio that uses OSM to show cycle paths/trails

    thanks

should have said living in Oz’ at moment and OSM is best for cycle paths/trails
Think wheresthepath is fantastic with OS links and used a lot for running in the UK as am old and OS maps read well for me

    orux looks very southern Europe

“Though there are many many more..” that for me is the problem

I haven’t found anything that is much good for cutting and pasting bits of track together.

I use Anquet maps on my laptop to do it but it is cumbersome and slow.

I thought I heard something recently about Strava being able to join sections up?

thanks – used Anquet for quite a while and yes hard work def’ looking for something that reacts when you click! though a lot of the functionality is what could use

[dumb] should look at strava – mrs antigee rides road 100% and her friends all use strava [/dumb] I do more mixed stuff and want to edit my off road loops back to road but could just look for existing strava stuff

Merging has been requested in Strava but don’t think they’ve added it. Can’t find it. You can crop though.

However you can put the GPX tracks into Endomondo and from the ‘history’ page you can merge them. Then export GPX and upload that to Strava.

Full editing, I’ve used Sports Tracks 3. It’s a pay product but the trail version is functional with some limits and does enough for me. https://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/store/compare-st3/
