I find it slightly curious that that Independent story doesn’t actually link to any of these many stories about how this was the start of WW3… could they not find any?

Heard about but it’s not unusual they do these big exercises now and then as do NATO. I never seen the figures of a 100k though, I’d say that was the media not the MOD.

I heard there were going to be exercises, I never heard any hype about threats.

Official figures from the Russian defence ministry say around 12,700 troops will be deployed in total, including 5,500 Russian personnel and 7,200 Belarussian soldiers.

But Nato has said as many as 100,000 troops could be involved.

Looks like The Independent are blaming the MOD for their own fake news.
