Is it possible to ride the various Gorrick courses the day before. Saturdays race at Crowthorne would need me to get there by 8am to practice and then wait around till 12 to start. Any chance I can practice the day before and get a (relative) lie in?

They tend to mark the courses out the day before, you may not be wildly popular if you’re riding it while they’re marking it!

Race is on sunday, not saturday, and it’s now at minley manor, not crowthorne.
You can do a pactice lap anytime on the day as long as you give way to people racing..
usually do a gentle lap to warm up with about 20 mins to spare before the start..

As jono1982 said, just do your practice/warm up during the morning races. I wouldn’t advise doing it on the Saturday, especially as its now on Army land . I think gorrick ask you not to ride the courses any other time
