    Or, what is the best Heli Tape out there? Most of the stuff I’ve bought off eBay has been bobbins! For a 2013 painted Yeti alu frame.

    I have used the standard black stuff cut neatly in cable rub areas – works well.

    I like genuine 3M tape.
    I got mine from Wildcat Gear, but you can find it at a few places.
    The stuff from Just Riding Along was pretty good too.

    The problem with some duck tapes is that the glue is corrosive and will eat into your paint.

    Thing is not to assume the loads of ‘3M’ helicopter tape on ebay and places is any good: got a load of ‘3M’ tape off ebay and its useless as its too thick for the contours on the frame and lacks any real adhesion

    Now days I just use biketape (biketart) or JRA
