Have used the phantom for six years or so and found it to be superb, but for one issue. I’ve had 3 of them now and the zip fails on them. The rest of the jacket is fine. I’ve looked at getting it repaired, admittedly not with much enthusiasm. Are there any alternatives out there?

A mate of mine who also has one prefers his other jacket by Vaude. Says it gets quite toasty though.

i had mine fixed by gore under warranty. The 2nd has now gone but it’s over 2 years old. Have found someone local that will repair for £35
